Christ
Church - Anglican
In
1887 a combined church and school was built. The plans of
the Anglican Colonization Society failed from a lack of knowledge
of the simpler elements of agriculture and the building was
moved away. More British immigrants arrived in 1891 and a
new church was built and established in 1902. The newest church
building was built on the site of the first church in 1980.
The Anglican Congregation holds services of the Holy Eucharist
each Sunday at 11:00 am with a coffee hour following.
