You
are required to have a vehicle sticker to enter the Churchbridge
Landfill.
Those
who use the landfill must place items in the correct disposal
area. Please be advised, the rules must be adhered to, otherwise
Town employees and those attending the Landfill have to move
items to the correct location.
Waste
or unwanted materials shall consist of normal household waste
materials or refuse remaining after recyclable
materials have been removed.
No
asbestos, chemical or hazardous materials or tires shall be
permitted.
There
is a charge for depositing roofing, shingles, brick and concrete.
The
Town of Churchbridge has a "Harrassment Free" Policy
regarding all employees, including Landfill attendants.
Bylaw
No.8-98 is a bylaw to regulate the Churchbridge Landfill.
Any person found guilty of an infraction shall be subject
to a fine not less than $200.
Town
of Churchbidge Garbage Pick-up Day is
Tuesday at your front street curb.
Unless: Monday is a Public
Holiday, then pick-up is Wednesday. |
Garbage
Regulations:
- Garbage
receptacles shall not be larger than 30 inches in height
and 20 inches in diametre.
- Garbage
receptacles or bags when filled shall not exceed 50 pounds.
- Garbage
refuse shall be placed in water-tight receptacles.
- No
person shall burn any garbage within Town Limits or at the
Churchbridge Landfill site.
