There are many local leagues during the different seasons that anyone is welcome to join. Churchbridge is located in an area that is excellent for all forms of recreation such as biking, walking, and cross country skiing. A local swimming pool is open during the summer for those who enjoy swimming. There are many great playgrounds are located all over Churchbridge for children to use. A small skateboarding park has also been set up and is used in the summer. There are excellent local initiatives in place, such as the local Fitness Center and the In Motion program, to encourage activity in the community. Alpine skiing and snowboarding, a great form of recreation you may not expect to see in the prairies, is also located close to the community in the Asessippi valley. Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is located across from the campgrounds. The Churchbridge Swimming Pool was built in 1971 a a Centennial project, and is a major attraction for children and adults. Two qualified lifeguards are on duty at all times, and the pool provides a healthy, clean, and safe enviroment for families.

Churchbridge Skating Arena

During the winter come check out the arena for general skating and shinny all week. Cheer on all our teams at games and tournaments happening regularly!

Churchbridge Curling Arena

Come and watch some excellent curling, as we have many teams and dates that our curlers are playing their hearts out! The Churchbridge Curling Club has curling leagues each winter, if you are interested in doing some curling, entering a team or finding a team to join, you might want to visit the Curling Club for more information!

Churchbridge Sportsgrounds

Churchbridge has a large sportsgrounds area just west of the swimming pool. The sportsgrounds has five maintained ball diamonds, a playground, and modern washrooms. At the Churchbridge sportsgrounds you can watch some exciting minor ball action, or participate in the local spring slopitch league.

Asessippi Ski Area and Winter Park

Located just a half hour drive from the community of Churchbridge is a steadly growing ski area many Churchbridge residents regularly enjoy. It is located with the popular Asessippi Park and Campground. Be sure to check out www.asessippi.com for more information about this great winter attraction.
